51 Breaks

Reviewed: "Blueprints" CD

Not the kind of music I'd normally listen to, I'll be honest, but I can totally appreciate what 51 Breaks have got going on here.

Combining what sounds like 80's synth infested Euro-pop with a big wedge of 90's Britpop, 51 Breaks have laid down a bunch of clever pop tunes that sound like.... well.... they sound like Tatu meets Oasis, if such a thing is possible. Sometime its a little disjointed in the way it jumps from one style to the other, but on the whole, it works well.

Overall? Cool sounding, dance floor filling, indie rock.
