Reviewed: Fyredroyde EP

Well?: More heavy metal thunder from Wiltshire's gods of the riff. Sounding more Iron Maiden than Iron Maiden in places (well, Diano era anyway), Fyredroyde picks up where Dawn of Ruin ended, with a more focused and (best of all) faster set of tunes.

Older than old school, Battlewitch's four tracks of vintage rock sound as fresh as the eighties, and make no effort whatsover to be modern, simply allowing the cliche to be king and the devil his queen.

As with previous Battlewitch (and Peace) releases, the lyrics and vocals are as strong as ever and add that extra dimension to further set Battlewitch apart from the milk drinkers.

Sexy music at its sexiest.

Overall: Buy it. Now. And enjoy with an Oranjeboom.
