Mesha

As you've probably noticed by now if you've made it this far into the site, Mesha is our amazing new cover girl, and deserves a lot of attention from anyone reading this for that fact alone! Go and tell Mesha how great she is on her MySpace page here.

*Please note* No, we haven't gone mad, we know this is the February update, but the interview with Mesha was originally conducted for the January update but narrowly missed out. As a result, we've included the whole thing here, January questions and all, purely for you viewing pleasure. Just pretend its January again for five minutes or something! 

How are you?
I'm doing wonderfully darlin.

If you were talking to a stranger, how would you describe yourself in three words:
Words to describe me to a stranger..hmmm, I'm tossed between "girl next door" and "sweet, balanced, listener".

As its the January edition of Voltcase, have you made any New Years resolutions for 2007?
Have I made a New Years resolution, yes, to make this year a better one that the last. last year was a very difficult year for me in every region. I'm making changes with everything to make things better in all aspects of my life.

What is the largest present you've ever been given?
The largest present that I ever received was actually 2 things... first, my oldest was born 5 days after my birthday so she was sorta a bday present. The other was a car for mother's day. It was an aurora and so sweet. Fast but an easy ride, sunroof, EVERTHING on the steering wheel.

What was the worst thing to happen in 2006?
The worst thing that happened to me in 2006 was getting hurt, emotionally and physically. I'm getting better though.

Who are your biggest influences, and / or who do you admire the most?
My biggest influences are in music Shania Twain, Linda Rondstat, Tyra Banks for modeling cuz she's just sassy without the whole diva attitude, Angelina Jolie. The woman has such a big heart, and of course my mother. My mom is the strongest woman I know.

On the other hand, who is the worst human being on the planet?
Wow, the worst human being on the planet is a loaded question. Let's just say that he's a leader from Texas who isn't doing what I think he should. (Don't want to get into too much trouble here).

If you joined the circus, what act would you most want to perform?
If I joined the circus, the act that I would most like to perform is the high wire. Even though I'm terrified of heights, I hit my fears head on. I'll be sky diving when my oldest turns 18..well... I promised..lol

If you had to chose one, which would it be and why: wet clothes for a day or clothes that were too small for a day?
If I had to choose between wet clothes or tight clothes for the day. I suppose it would depend on the other circumstances. Is it hot outside that day? lol. If it were cold than I would have to say tight clothes since I'm used to that one.

Why should the the lazy general public make the effort to check you out, and what have you got planned for the coming year?
Lol, why would the public want to check me out? Well, I'm not your typical woman for starters. I'm busting into modeling and music at an age that most are established. I'm 38 years old with 3 children. lol. I'm different and kinda like the girl next door. I can be simple or when dolled up fierce and like Angelina Jolie. My vocal style isn't your typical either. I sing things MY way not a carbon copy.

And finally..... what does the word 'Voltcase' mean to you?
What does Voltcase mean to me..well, sassy, in your face, personal, fun, spirited (sure just add alcohol and watch it grow..lol..) but the FIRST impression that I got from the word was, "Is this something to do with coffins or guitar cases that look like coffins?" No lie..lol..I tend to be wacky sometimes..If I make you laugh, then I've done my job..and no, don't wanna do stand up comedy..now THAT would be a job.. Happy New year!
