Hello! How are you? I'm doing frightenly fangtastic!
If you were talking to a stranger, how would you describe yourself in three words: Ctrl, Alt, Vamp
So, do you really think that you are a vampire? Or, to put it another way, do other people think that you are a vampire? I do believe myself to be a vampire, however it's probably not what you think. I've been involved in the vampire community for sometime, even before I started modeling I was known as "VampireKitten". Later I adopted the name "VampireKitten" seeing as it was only appropriate. To me vampirism is a metaphysical "condition" (sometimes it is considered a spirituality), where I cannot replenish my own vital energy and therefore must take it from others for my own well being. Most people think or known about my vampirism. I am very open with it and if people don't like it then it's their problem.
Talking about vampires, who's the greatest screen vampire of all time, and have they influenced your look / attitude in any way? I'm going to be honest, I don't obsess over Lestat or drool over Dracula like the rest of the world. My favorite on screen blood suckers have to be The Lost Boys. David, Star, Michael and the rest have influenced allot of my work and reflect myself almost entirely. I love them, they are unique, to me they are very romantic and sexy.
You seem to be into the paranormal side of things as well. Here at Voltcase, we're skeptics waiting patiently to be convinced - are you a blind believer of all things paranormal, or are you still searching for proof? If I told you some of the things that I have experienced, you probably wouldn't believe me. I research the paranormal because I feel like I have to. It's for my own knowledge of what might possibly be something other than our physical plane of existence. I don't believe things until I see them and even then I try and disprove many of the things that I see. Before I started in the paranormal I used to be afraid of allot of things, including unseen things like death. I'm not afraid anymore.
As far as the modeling goes, have you got any personal guidelines on what you will / wont do - regardless of the money on offer? Yes, I have guidelines and rules for myself. When I started my fiance told me that I shouldn't do anything that I was uncomfortable with for any dollar amount, I have been living by that rule ever since. I've turned down several high paying jobs because I just didn't feel I could do some of those things to myself. Either that or the jobs sounded fake/fishy to me. I don't do nudity simply because I feel that you can get any model to strip for you, but it takes a great model to work hard doing what she loves without it. I'm one of the few that does not do nudity and I feel that little clothing is far more sexy than none at all.
Music means a lot to us here at Voltcase, do you listen to much yourself? Any favorite bands / artists? Music is my life. When I am not watching TV (which isn't very often), my music is on. I was a drummer for 5 years and loved every minute of it. I listen to everything except country and rap. I love classical, rock, r&b, punk, alternative, new age, industrial, swing, classics, and more. Band you will most often see on my playlist are Jack Off Jill, Blink 182, VNV Nation, Seal, AC/DC. Queen, Santana, Emilie Autumn, Spookhaus, Savage Garden, Enigma, and hundreds more.
Do you ever get hassled by weirdo's (sorry, over enthusiastic fans) who track you down on the Internet? Any strange stories? Nothing to bad, just some unusual pm's to my myspace that even I can't seem to decipher and stupid "pickup line" crap that will never work for any man. On occasion I get people following me around the internet and they usually get blocked from all of my profiles, message boards and whatnot.
Why should the lazy general public make the effort to check you out, and what have you got planned for the immediate future? Well right now I am working on a lot of things, mainly deciding where I want to go next in my modeling career. I am working on a macabre fantasy coffee table book, videos, more photosets, more cosplay (which seems to be very popular) and more features that are offered FREE on my site (no I am not a paysite model). On top of that I am working on a modern vampirism book. They should check me out because I am awesome. No really, I'm the coolest little meow mix vamp goddess this side of the litterbox and I don't bite... much. If your looking for unique fun and fright you can check me out at www.vampirekitten.net
And finally..... what does the word 'Voltcase' mean to you? Voltcase makes me think of classic horror movies and haunted houses. |
