VOLTCASE VICTORIA SINISTER INTERVIEW:
Hello, welcome to Voltcase! How are you?
Fabulous
If you were talking to a stranger, how would you describe yourself in three words:
3 words... Hmm.. how about artistic, sultry, & sinister!
So, what's this about you being a horror actress, then? Does that make you a 'scream queen'?
lol I'd like to think I'm a future Scream Queen. When I think of Scream Queens, I think of women who've made an impact on the Independent Horror genre. Women like Melantha Blackthorne & Debbie Rochon. They're great inspiration for me to pursue the title of a Scream Queen.
We love our horror stuff around here at Voltcase, any films that you've been in that you think we should check out? Or any films that you haven't been in, for that matter!
Yes, I actually have a really funny role coming up in "Pot Zombies 2" by Fringe Media & Troma. So I'm looking forward to that. And if you've never heard of "Pot Zombies", it's one of the funniest Independent Horror ever!
So which came first - the modeling or the acting? Do you prefer one over the other, and would you rather just concentrate on one of them?
Well, I've always wanted to act, but didn't have many opportunities to until after I started modeling. I'm still new to film, & I actually don't prefer one over the other. What I really like to do is modeling from a Cinematic approach. Where the image tells a story, or looks like scene from a movie. It's fun to combine acting with modeling, be able to be dark and disturbing at the same time.
How much of the burlesque stuff have you done so far? A lot of bands seem to be taking burlesque shows on tour with them at the moment instead of a support band, is that something you've done or would fancy doing at some point?
Well, I was in a Burlesque Troupe called Cadaver Cabaret for about a year and a half. We did lots of shows in the DFW area, and all over Texas. A couple of the shows we did were opening for bands. The crowds were great. Very energetic, and very drunk! lol. I'm just beginning to do solo burlesque now, and so far I've only been booked for Club/Fetish events, but I would love to work with a band again. They know how to party!!
Voltcase readers tend to be very open minded and very difficult to shock, can you say tell us anything about yourself that would shock even the most hardcore of Voltcase reader?
I'm actually a Robot.
Loud rock n roll plays a big part in our lives here at Voltcase towers, does music influence you at all? Any artists in particular that you fancy name dropping?
Yes, I love music. I'm a big Nine Inch Nails fan. I like a lot of different music though, everything from Depeche Mode to Lamb of God. If I go on tour with a local band anytime soon, it'd be GRIM. They're the best new rock from Dallas.
So, why should the lazy general public make the effort to check you out?
Because I've got lots more is store with both upcoming Film projects, and live Burlesque shows. Not to mention, I'm working on lots of new photos and pin-up art. Who doesn't want some eye-candy?
And finally..... what does the word 'Voltcase' mean to you?
Sounds like something you'd find in Frankenstein's lab. lol
