VOLTCASE SLEEPY RED INTERVIEW:

Welcome to Voltcase, Sleepy Red, how are things?

Things are good, lots of shoots with some wonderful photographers.

So, how would you describe yourself to a stranger in three words?

Pixie, bubbly and bouncy.

How would you describe your brand of modelling? Is just ‘alternative’ a bit vague?

Alternative is a bit vague, most of my shoots have been Gothic, cyber goth and candy girl look.

From your profile, you seem to love horror films. Does this, or will this, spill over into your modelling at all? Any plans on doing any spooky or horror themed photo shoots?

I have a few ideas along those lines which I'm discussing with photographers at the moment how easily it would be to create, but ideas are top secret.

Any personal guidelines on what you will / wont do regards to modelling? And any advice to anyone out there whose just starting out?

I will do most stuff as long as its not nude. I would advise always check out any photographers before you meet them and make sure you have a clear idea what you want to do and don't be swayed from it and play around posing in front of a mirror to boost your confidence before shoots.

How do you find the UK for 'alternative' models at the moment? Would you be better off in, say, America, or are you happy here?

Well I think I have been lucky with the photographers I have had shoots with and keen to work with me inside the idea's I have had but I do believe that America is more open to the 'alternative' models.

Any rock-star style stories that you can tell us about? Ever thrown a TV out of a hotel window, for example?

Not really. unless you count taking stuff from hotels as rock-star.

If you were interviewing yourself, what question would you ask yourself? And what would the answer be?

Q. How long have you been modelling for? and what have you got from it so far?

A. I have been modelling for a year and I have had the chance to work with a few professional photographers and considerably expand my portfolio. Also they have helped me progress in all aspects of the business. And recently I have been invited by 2 London agencies for interview.

So, what have you got planned for the rest of the year?

Well I'm going to attend the 2 interviews, but also I'm intending to do several shoots with photographers around the UK who are interested in my idea's.

And finally, the question that we ask everyone that appears in Voltcase - what does the word 'Voltcase' mean?

Isn't it something to do with how to pull off the perfect bank job?
