Hi, welcome to Voltcase! How are things!?

Why Hi There, and Thankies. Things are beyond hectic for me at the moment; I just started studying photo-imagery fulltime.

So, how would you describe yourself to a stranger in just three words (yes, just three words!)?

Short, pink and violent

Is there anything in particular that sets you apart from all of the other Voltgirl’s we’ve featured in Voltcase over the years?

Hmmmm asides from the mass amounts of pink, and being uber short hehe probably not.

Now, on to the modelling – how did it all start for you? Was it something you always wanted to do, or did it just ‘happen’?

I know there is going to be a lot of rolling eyes when I say this, but it sort of just happened for me, my first time being approached to do modelling, was actually by a body piercing studio in which I frequented every week, the owner asked me if I would like to be the model for the studio website, I was flattered but like I said to him I would much prefer to work as a piercer to be honest. So in turn I gained my first modelling shoot and began my traineeship as a body piercer the following week.

Do you have any personal guidelines on what you will or won’t do for the sake of a good photo, or is it pretty much anything goes? And if you do have any guidelines, have you ever been in a situation where you’ve had to enforce them?

There is only one thing I wouldn’t do for the sake of a good photo, and that is take my piercings out, or have my tattoo’s covered or edited out. Other than that I could happily play in the dirt for an hour or two if u needed me too haha.

A lot of the models that we chat to here at Voltcase are often actresses, musicians, writers etc as well. Are you concentrating on just the modelling, or is it just one of many things that you do?

Modelling is one of few things that I spend my time doing, I’m a qualified body piercer (5 years) and make-up artist (3 years) I dally in synthetic hair fall creations, costume design and jewellery making and have just start my certificate in photo-imagery this year and cant wait to be the one behind the camera and explore multiple layer photo-negative synthesis much like the work of Jerry Uelsmann a master pioneer photographer with a brilliant creative mind … yep that rights people I’m trying to force upon you this photographers work, so Google it already dammit.

We’re all a bunch of geeks at heart here at Voltcase, are you particularly geekie about anything in particular yourself – the more embarrassing the better!?

Hmmm it depends what you consider geeky really … I’m a massive Final Fantasy (playstation) fan, I’m a tekken whore, I slaughter on Tony Hawks for DS, my room is completely pink and looks like you just walked into a Sanrio store in Japan mixed with pictures of Holly Madison from girls of the playboy mansion, transformers posters, bob Dylan tribute poster and Lenore the creepy little dead girl, I read by choice and I am still scared of things under the bed haha.

If you were interviewing yourself, what question would you ask yourself? And what would the answer be?

Do you have any pets?

And yes I have my furry love of my life ‘Ginger Snaps – aka Snappy’ my kitty and my gorgeous rats Buddy (he isn’t quiet right in the head) and Ginger aka Princess who is blind.

Loud rock ’n’ roll plays a big part in our lives here at Voltcase, are you a big music fan? Any bands or artists you might want to namedrop for us, or any unknown acts that you think we should check out?

Haha I have the strangest tastes in music, it is so all over the place its not funny but Classics would be, Bob Dylan of course, Cat Stevens, Simon & Garfunkel, moving up to Pantera of course Metallica, Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, Napalm Death, Arch Enemy, Rotterdam Terror Corpse, Noise Controllers, Neophyte … haha I’m sure you get the point.

And finally, the question that we ask everyone that appears in Voltcase - what does the word 'Voltcase' mean?
