Hi, welcome to Voltcase! How are things!?

Thank you, things are brilliant!

So, how would you describe yourself to a stranger in just three words?

Creative, blonde, bombshell.

Is there anything in particular that sets you apart from all of the other Voltgirl’s we’ve featured in Voltcase over the years?

I’m not sure, but I’m defiantly a one off, you’re never going to get another one of me, ha-ha!

Now, on to the modelling – how did it all start for you? Was it something you always wanted to do, or did it just ‘happen’?

I always wanted to be seen or acknowledged is probably a better word. I developed a very curvy figure in my teens so started off glamour modelling, but I guess my image is mixed between bimbo and punky, so I was best suited for ‘alternative’ modelling. And a friend of a friend introduced me to a bondage and fetish model and they asked me straight away to pose for their website, so I did, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Do you have any personal guidelines on what you will or won’t do for the sake of a good photo, or is it pretty much anything goes? And if you do have any guidelines, have you ever been in a situation where you’ve had to enforce them?

I’m not morally opposed to people who do ’ open leg’  photos, but it just isn’t for me, I’m not courageous enough to do it. I’ve never had to use guidelines at a shoot, I think the photographers I’ve worked with know straight away what I’m prepared to do, and probably know not to ask for more unless I’ve said so beforehand, ha-ha!

A lot of the models that we chat to here at Voltcase are often actresses, musicians, writers etc as well. Are you concentrating on just the modelling, or is it just one of many things that you do?

I do all sorts, ha-ha! Because I’m so creative, I’m seriously rubbish at ‘proper’ 9 to 5 jobs. And I have been known to get bored easily. I also paint and have held my own art exhibitions, usually portraits of all the people who inspire me, Madonna is my biggest seller, followed by Marilyn Monroe. I’m also a qualified make-up artist, and I’ve done a bit of tattooing. At the moment I’m looking into becoming a Marilyn Monroe impersonator, because I’ve just starred in a music video as her for a band called the Wolfmen. I guess there are a few comparisons. But in my image I mix up all those elements, blonde bombshell hair, tattoos, punky clothes, I like to mix it up.

We’re all a bunch of geeks at heart here at Voltcase, are you particularly geekie about anything in particular yourself – the more embarrassing the better!?

Not geekie really, I do love pride and prejudice and I used to have braces, does that make me a bit geekie? Ha-ha!

If you were interviewing yourself, what question would you ask yourself? And what would the answer be?

I’d ask myself, “why do you always get hung up on guys that are way too busy?” I’d reply, I can’t help it.

Loud rock ’n’ roll plays a big part in our lives here at Voltcase, are you a big music fan? Any bands or artists you might want to namedrop for us, or any unknown acts that you think we should check out?

I’m a huge music fan. I’m mainly an eighties girl, and I love bands like The Police, Cure, Kajagoogoo, Eurythmics, Soft Cell,  Psychedelic Furs, and Public Image Ltd. Punk will always be a part of my music collection as my dad was an original punk and played in punk bands – he even played with Marky Ramone and Glen Matlock at one point. So I defiantly get that element from him, but my idol is Madonna.
She may not fit into the Voltcase scene but I will ask you to check out a mash up of Madonna and the Sex Pistols. Its called ‘Ray of Gob’, which is ‘Ray of Light’ with ‘Pretty Vacant’ and then ‘God Save the Queen.’ You can find it on YouTube. Actually the guy who introduced me to that track is now Glen Mattock’s drummer, and a very good friend of mine.

And finally, the question that we ask everyone that appears in Voltcase - what does the word 'Voltcase' mean?

Acceptance for the mixture of music art image punk bondage fetish creativity pin up rocky horror stockings make up and blonde bombshells. That’s the vibe I get.
